Jeremiah 39 vs 18.
"I will save you; you will not fall by the sword but will escape with your life, because you trust in me, declares the LORD."
Whatever a man trust on before and on the day of trouble determines whether such an individual will be kept safe or destroyed. If you put your trust in the flesh, it can't deliver you because its ability is limited but in God alone lies salvation and it can never be found in any other place.
What you live for and trust in determines your stand or faith in the day of trouble.
ALWAYS TRUST IN GOD.
